Languages

At WRC, we believe learning a language opens the door to new cultures, perspectives, and global opportunities. Our Language program focuses on Japanese, offering students a rich and engaging introduction to both the language and culture of Japan.

Students begin by building foundational skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Japanese. As they progress, they deepen their understanding of grammar and vocabulary, while also exploring traditional and modern aspects of Japanese culture — from festivals and food to art, history, and daily life.

Our interactive and student-centered approach includes:

  • Role-play and conversation practice

  • Cultural activities and themed lessons

  • Integration of digital tools and language apps

Studying Japanese helps develop communication skills, memory, and cognitive flexibility – and can lead to exciting opportunities in fields like international business, tourism, education, diplomacy, and technology.
